I realize some of you may not have been fans back when Kane originally wore a mask. You may have seen videos online or on DVDs or seen pictures of the Big Red ‘Masked’ Machine. I watched Kane when he had a full mask on in the late 90′s. And I watched as he slowly regained his voice. And then I saw him return to destroy the Un-Americans one night, while debuting his ‘half-mask‘. Then in 2003, one of WWE’s longest-running secrets was shattered when Kane was forced to remove his mask and expose his face to the world. Hence started an 8-year era of the new Kane. Some say the mask held him back, and he was truly unleashed once it came off. But as a longtime Kane fan let me assure you, the mask isn’t a prison. It’s what makes Kane a monster. Without the mask Kane is a brawler, but with it he’s a beast. Now nearly a decade later, the dreaded mask has resurfaced, bringing with it a new breed of Kane that the WWE roster has yet to face! Lets be honest, the title hasn’t been relevant for some time now, and with it constantly jumping from superstar to superstar practically every 2 months for the last several years, nobody really takes the Championship seriously. Have you heard? WWE 12′ has been scoring great ratings across major videogame websites! IGN gave it a 9.0/10 whereas other websites are saying this game is a must-have! Now, if you’re a fan of WWE videogames, you’ll understand why this is great news. THQ promised a brand new era in wrestling videogames with WWE 12′, the brand new title in the series, taking off after the previous SmackDown! vs Raw line-up. I made wallpapers for those over the last 2 years, so I thought hey, why not make one for a game that has actually proven to be fairly awesome?  More

Let’s not fool ourselves. This PPV is built around one thing and one thing only, and that’s the epic team-up of the biggest WWE superstar of the current generation, John Cena, and possibly the greatest WWE superstar of all time, The Rock! It’s been 7 long years since The Great One laced-up a pair of boots (which will come into contact with some unfortunate behinds, apparently), and that alone is worth the price of this WWE PPV event.  More

Beware The Great White Sheamus!
I’m glad they went with this nickname for Sheamus. Whoever figured it would be great to relate the Celtic Warrior with something as deadly as a Great White Shark deserves major kudos. And the name fits Sheamus because of the guy’s menacing presence. It’s easy to make fun of his hair and call him a ‘ginger‘ from afar, but up-close, you wouldn’t want to turn your back on someone who could club your chest into oblivion with his bare hands! More

Woo Woo Woo, You Know It!

First off, there’s been a high demand for this wallpaper via Facebook and Twitter, so for all of you who wanted it, here it is!

Never in a million years would I have expected that catchphrase to be something fans would chant at WWE events. Seriously. Zack Ryder, to me, was just another generic wrestler back when he was with Edge as part of La Familia / Rated [R] Entourage. Before that he was one-half of the Major Brothers with real-life brother, Curt Hawkins. Ordinary tag-team, but talented nonetheless. But when he came out with the one-legged long tights and the goofy colorful getup I labeled this dude as a dud and never, ever expected him to be someone the audience would actually draw-up signs for. Damn, was I wrong! More

So here we are at Vengeance, which is ironic and coincidental at the same time seeing as this PPV’s history is as chaotic as WWE’s current angles. Or was I looking for the word ‘terrible‘ instead? Not sure, but I can’t remember anything good happening at a Vengeance event other than Chris Jericho winning both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships, becoming the first-ever Undisputed Champion in WWE history. But that’s not to say this newly-reborn Vengeance won’t be any good.  More
