WWE SmackDown! “SyFy Premiere” Wallpaper.

SmackDown! Has A New Home.
SmackDown! is finally joining the same league as the USA Network…well, technically. WWE superstars on the blue-brand will now emanate from the SyFy network, home to NXT and the now-defunct ECW. I think it’s a pretty good move, and SmackDown! deserves to be on a well-known channel. Matches on SmackDown! beat the stuff you see on Raw any day, and I can’t help but like their sleeker, brighter style. I love Raw and all its classic moments too no doubt, but I wish SmackDown! would get the ratings and attention that they deserve. Hopefully one day they’ll go Live, and that would be awesome. Anyway, I thought of this as a good opportunity to get a SmackDown! wallpaper up hyping their move to SyFy. It’s made of all the stuff SmackDown! is and it’s bombarded with the Superstars that make SmackDown! an entertaining show every week. Download and enjoy, fellas!

First Look : WWE Bragging Rights 2010 [HQ] Poster.
Friday
Aug 27, 2010
WWE Bragging Rights isn’t for another couple of months, but you can take a look at this seriously epic poster for now, courtesy of the good folks over at WrestleYourWay. It was just 48hours ago when I mentioned that the Hell In A Cell poster is one of the best I’ve seen in a while, and while it still is, this piece of coolness stands in line with it.Whoever is behind these new designs, kudos to them! We’re obviously not going to see the lineup shown on the poster at the actual PPV, but it makes for a cool imagining of what would happen if it did. In fact, I would rather have this baby as one of the covers for the SmackDown! vs Raw videogames.
I can only name a couple of mistakes that takes away from the poster a little. First, everyone seems to be staring-down the opposition’s foreheads, chins, or cheeks. The other thing is that Undertaker looks like he’s bored. And third, Randy Orton is way too badass to be standing second in line anymore. Sorry Cenation, but you gotta’ admit, it’s time for Cena and Orton to take turns at being first in line from now on…kinda’ like when Stone Cold and The Rock were two of the biggest, baddest names in the business.
Check out the poster below, and click on it to see it in full size.

First Look : WWE Hell In A Cell 2010 [HQ] Poster.
Wednesday
Aug 25, 2010
The folks over at WrestleYourWay were kind enough to send over the clean, complete, and HQ version of this year’s WWE Hell In A Cell poster. You saw the smaller version show up on the side a few days ago, now take a peek at this badass piece of work in all its glory.
I gotta’ say, this is one of the best WWE posters I’ve seen in a long time. It’s cool, it’s classic, it has a fantastic “Attitude-era” vibe to it, and it features none other than the man who feels at ‘home’ within WWE’s most carnage-inducing structure, The Undertaker. The way things are heading, I think we’re about to see an epic encounter between The Brothers of Destruction inside the Cell itself, and it’s a match I’ve been waiting to see for a very, very long time. Maybe it’ll be the end of Kane’s championship run (if he remains champion after Night of Champions), or maybe not…either way, I’m probably going to love having this poster up on my wall when I can get my hands on it.
My instinct tells me this is the end of Kane’s career, or at least for the time being. It makes perfect sense; it began inside the Cell, it’s only poetic justice if it ended on the same level as well. I hope I’m wrong, though.

Dolph Ziggler “Perfection” Wallpaper.

“I Am Perfection.”
Remember back when Dolph Ziggler used to wear green cheerleader tights and yell out “Nicky!!” before him and his mates got the living crap beaten out of em’ by Degeneration X? Good times, good times. In all seriousness, I like Dolph Ziggler. He’s got that classic wrestling vibe to him, plus he’s heavily inspired by some good ol’ wrestling legends. Throw in some colorful attire and a slightly cheesy hairdo, and you’ve got yourself a decent superstar. The way things were going, I was afraid Ziggler would sink into obscurity, but luckily he’s bagged himself the Intercontinental Championship, and with “Lady Success” herself, Vickie Guerrero, on his side, things are looking pretty good for the bleach blond athlete. And lets admit it, it’s way better handing the spotlight to someone like Ziggler instead of a certain hack named Eric Escobar. Remember him? I think if Dolph Ziggler plays his cards right, keeps wrestling the way he does, and continues to build momentum, he could find himself in major main events in the near future. As for the wallpaper itself, it’s the first solo Ziggler wallpaper, so get to downloadin’, all!

Updated! WWE Summerslam 2010 Wallpaper.
Tuesday
Aug 10, 2010
![]()
UPDATE : Here’s the newer version of the wallpaper featuring Chris Jericho and Edge as part of Team WWE, and minus The Great Khali. Hopefully The Miz grabs the vacant spot. Miz is getting more entertaining by the minute, so it’ll be cool to see how he performs alongside his fellow Raw superstars against a common threat.
It’s The Biggest Event Of The Summer!
It’s WWE’s “WrestleMania of the summer” and by the looks of things, this year’s event is going to be epic. The deadly seven known as The Nexus have taken WWE by the throat and it seems not even John Cena’s elite team are a match for the ruthless rookies. I doubt Team WWE will be victorious at Summerslam, but even if they do win, this rivalry is far from over. I’m predicting an even bigger match down the road, possibly at Survivor Series. Then there’s SmackDown!’s intense saga pitting Kane against Rey Mysterio, during which I hope The Undertaker returns. I was hoping The Nexus would be responsible for the Deadman’s “coma”, but I’m always open to another Brothers Of Destruction angle. And of course, the vicious, venomous viper, Randy Orton is prepped and ready for another championship run. I hope he takes the belt off Sheamus, but even if he doesn’t, it’s almost certain someone’s going to get RKO’d at the event! Get to downloadin’, all. The wallpaper isn’t complete, but as soon as we know who’ll fill in the spots for Edge and Chris Jericho, I’ll update the wallpaper and put it up again.
NOTE : Also, Unchained Wrestling Wallpapers turns 5 this month! I’ll be celebrating a lil’ with some changes to the site. Big or small, you’ll have to wait and see. As for now, enjoy the new Summerslam wallpaper, and keep checking back for more updates!

WWE Money In The Bank 2010 Wallpaper.

One briefcase, and the chance of a lifetime.
I’ve been a fan of the Money In The Bank match ever since its debut at WrestleMania 21. It was a WrestleMania tradition that I truly got into, and knowing that at anytime the holder of the briefcase could cash-in and cause a shocker made things very interesting. Of course, WWE had to go and take MITB out of WrestleMania and turn it into a PPV by itself. And now there are two briefcases, two main-events, and a total of 16 superstars competing for a championship opportunity. It sounds exciting, but it ruins the specialty of having just ONE MITB match, and ONE winner with an anything-goes opportunity in hand. What’s the point of having two people running around with two different briefcases? It only spoils the chances of having more surprises. Anyway, here’s the wallpaper for this Sunday’s Money In The Bank conceptual pay-per-view. The matches seem pretty interesting, and I’m almost sure the Nexus will be eagerly anticipating an opening to cause some chaos, but all in all, I still wish they left MITB as a WrestleMania-exclusive match.
