There Will Be Vengeance!
It has been ages since Unchained Wrestling Wallpapers has featured the Big Red Monster, Kane, so I thought what better time to put up a new wallpaper of the 7foot behemoth than right now. I’m going to openly state here that Kane was the reason (or one of the biggest reasons) I tuned into wrestling week after week. The violent streaks, the fear-inducing stare that beamed out of the holes of his mask, his hellish entrance, and the intriguing storylines with his counterpart / brother, The Undertaker, were awesome. And while Kane has been somewhat suppressed in recent years, it looks like he’ll finally be getting a major push now (hopefully), since he’s deeply rooted with The Undertaker’s sudden ‘departure’. I’m hoping for a proper reunion of the Brothers Of Destruction, but even if the predictable happens and Kane is the ‘culprit’ behind the crime, it’ll still be fun to watch because any angle that these two get into is always coated with mystique, awe, and surprises. The best thing that could happen, though, would be for Kane to put on a new mask and create carnage in WWE once again. One can only hope. Anyway, here’s a new Kane wallpaper for all the Kaneanites entitled Through Hellfire & Brimstone, in conjunction with this new Attitude-ish scenario that Kane has gotten himself into.

Jack Swagger “The All American-American” Wallpaper.

“The Two-Time, Two-Time, All American-American!”
If there’s one guy who repeats his words more than Mrrrrr.Anderson…Anderson, it’s the current World Heavyweight Champion, Jack Swagger. In all honesty, I thought Swagger was doomed when he started getting his @$$ tossed-out of rings by Santino. And I wasn’t very happy with his push when he won Money In The Bank at WrestleMania either. Thankfully, Jack Swagger has proven me wrong and he seems to have his path cut-out for him. The guy’s doing a good job and if he plays his cards well, he could become a permanent top-rank name. His in-ring skills are fantastic for a guy his size, so pitting him against superstars like The Undertaker doesn’t look awkward. To me it looks like Jack Swagger is heading down the same path as Kurt Angle. In fact, I think he could be our next Kurt Angle. They both excel at amateur wrestling, they use pro-American themes in their personas, they both repeat catchphrase words (It’s True, It’s True / It’s Real, It’s Damn Real / All American, American ), and they’ll always be slightly dorky no matter how much they grow as superstars. Without further ado, here’s the first-ever wallpaper of Jack Swagger! Download and enjoy, all.

NEW WWE Tables,Ladders, & Chairs Poster.
Thursday
Nov 26, 2009
Woah, now that’s one ugly looking poster. Seriously, it looks like a preschooler was trying his skills at design work. I’m not sure why WWE picked this picture to hype their event when [a] Edge is still injured and is a few months away (at least) from returning to the ring, [b] Undertaker looks beat-down and (un)intimidating, and [c] there are loads of other images that depict a TLC match way better. I like the CM Punk poster a lot more than this piece. Looks very rushed and gives us a sense that even WWE doesn’t care about some of their own events anymore. Anyway, it’s still a poster…I just cant find one good thing to say about it!
Thanks to NME, Subho, and Irfan for the heads-up.

WWE Tables, Ladders, Chairs (TLC) Poster
Saturday
Nov 21, 2009
CM Punk is featured on the poster for WWE’s brand new pay-per-view event, TLC, obviously branding all main events under Tables, Ladders, and Chairs rules. I think it would have looked better if more superstars were featured on the poster instead of just one; CM Punk looks kinda’ odd jumping around all by himself. Still, it’s a unique looking poster. Not any of the best this year, but not bad either. Click the image for the full sized image.
Thanks to NME and Muafadal for the heads-up.
WWE SURVIVOR SERIES WALLPAPER.

Survivor Series is always one of my favorite shows and this year’s looks like it’s going to be one heck of a ride! Two Triple Threat matches for the two most coveted prizes in the business; both matches pitting tag-teams against each other. Will Chris Jericho and Big Show beat each other to a point where it’s just impossible to coexist anymore, bringing jeopardy upon their Unified Tag Team Championship status? And can Degeneration X coexist as promised with both Triple H and Shawn Michaels working as a unit, or will their egos tear them apart as they eye the WWE Championship? Then there’s ‘the Great Betrayal’, or what I call the awesome turn of Batista from ‘best friend in the whole wide world’ to ‘unleashed beast that’s been behind bars for way too long’. There’s just so much happening at Survivor Series this year that there’s a very low chance of it not being epic. Here’s the wallpaper for the show, stylized according to this year’s theme (as seen on the microsite). Download, decorate, and of course…enjoy!

ABYSS | THE MONSTER.

I used to hate Abyss for ripping off Kane. Not only did he wear a mask and had the hair but also the demented nature, the ‘red’ entrances, the tormented background story, the Paul Bearer-wannabe manager (also known as) Paul Mitchell, and at one point his feud with Mitchell’s ‘son’, Judas Mesias who (I’m not kidding) was trying to rip-off The Undertaker in every way possible before he injured himself and left the angle faster than he came into it. I’ve mellowed down over the years and I have to admit that Abyss is a force to be reckoned with. He pulls off some awesome maneuvers and has a new vibe going. The whole hoodie + jacket outfit makes him look scrappy but in a good way. And he still looks imposing. Plus, he’s more of a Mick Foley follower now and Foley seems to like the guy so who am I to judge anymore. I’m still pretty sure Abyss is TNA’s version of Kane, but I think it’s safe to say he’s made a name for himself and is his own superstar these days. He blogs, too. To me that’s just a bad idea. TNA has tons of wrestlers yet they pick the one guy who’s supposed to be a monster to blog and be tech-savvy. *sigh* Anyway, download this grungy wallpaper featuring Abyss, a man who I’m sure will stick around TNA for years to come and decimate many more victims that cross his path.
