I’ve never been an avid follower of TNA Wrestling, but I do keep in touch with the company’s happenings. I give them credit for trying to put on a good show for wrestling fans, but I always get the feeling that they’re re-using WWE angles and recycling former WWE superstars. I’d like more originality. That’s where these two guys come in. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, collectively known as The Motor City Machine Guns, are original, entertaining, and fun to watch. They’re fast, they’re agile, and they pull-off some mean moves. And it only makes sense that they’re the reigning TNA Tag Champions. I think if TNA produced more original elites like these guys, the company could make a unique brand for themselves and actually grow into a solid household name, ready to do battle with WWE. I’d love to see TNA prosper and become a major pro-wrestling show, but I don’t think they’ll achieve greatness if they keep heading in their current direction.
