Beast. Behemoth. Batista.
There are some superstars in WWE that just thrive as heels and Batista is one of them. In my opinion, Batista’s current run is the best I’ve seen so far, even compared to when he was a face and even compared to way back when he was in Evolution. Batista’s current ‘spotlight’ angle is brash, bold, and puts The Animal in his own league. I didn’t really catch WWE Over The Limit but I know the outcome of the I Quit Match. Rumor has it that Batista may be taking some time off (or even retiring really soon) so that’s why I decided to make these wallpapers. It’s a whopper Batista wallpaper in two different versions. Below is the one I call the ‘Rage‘ version. Pick your favorite! If I had my say I’d want Batista to stick around somemore since he’s one of the few decent superstars in today’s WWE. And if he does stick around I hope he continues as heel. His arrogance, his verbal assaults, and his dominating ring presence is exactly what a solid heel is made of. While I didn’t really like the first feud between Batista and John Cena, their current tiff is one of my favorites in the last couple of years. Batista really brings some much needed heat to his feuds. Anyway, get to downloadin’ fellas! PS : As you can see, I’ve removed the tagboard / message board from the site, so the only way you can give me feedback for wallpapers now is via Comments that’s linked to every wallpaper. Oh, and just to make things clear, the person who posted most of the last messages on the tagboard as “Dez” WASN’T me. But I’m sure most of you guessed that already.

No Rules. Anything Goes.
It’s supposedly the one night of the year when ‘anything goes’ and ‘no rules apply’, yet I’m sure when someone gets their forehead busted wide open, the “PG-Police” will come running out to the ring with a towel, some of that glue, and a first-aid kit, to make there’s no sight of blood on WWE programming. Also, I’m pretty sure we won’t see chairshots to the head since that has been banned as well. Monitors to the head, on the other hand, are fine? But anyway, I like Extreme Rules because it’s a lot more interesting than most of the new PPVs that have sprung up over the last year, even if the more brutal matches have been banished from WWE’s plans (for the time-being). And yes, the wallpaper above has only 5 matches because more matches were just announced today and there wasn’t any time left; the event is just days away. My most anticipated matches? Triple H / Sheamus and CM Punk / Rey Mysterio. I really think Triple H and Sheamus are going to hand out severe beatings to each other…hopefully I’m not wrong. Get to downloadin’, fellas!

“Clash Of The Titans!”
It happens in every generation. It used to be Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior. The it became The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. And now it’s John Cena vs Batista at the Show Of Shows. What’s awesome about this second clash between these former rivals is that it isn’t somewhat of a friendly bout anymore. It’s an all-out personal war with John Cena being everyone’s hero and Batista being literally evil to the core. The Animal has shown time and time again that John Cena just isn’t any match for him (which is probably why Cena will end up winning in the end, but still).  Lets hope WWE does something unique for once and not have the same ol’ “hero / underdog emerges victorious” scenario that we’ve seen time and time again at ‘Mania events. I first thought that this match was going to involve Vince McMahon and Bret Hart standing in their “team’s” respective corners but it turned out differently, which is a good thing. If it were up to me I would have Batista hold on to the WWE Championship for a long, long time. Plus, the WWE Championship needs a facelift. While the “spinner” design looks solid, it’s pretty one-sided in the sense that it looks like it always belongs to John Cena. Lets have a general-looking championship, shall we? Anyway, download the wallpaper above in anticipation of WrestleMania 26 and the brawl between these two WWE juggernauts. It’s gonna’ be an epic battle in the desert and destruction will be inevitable!

I know these updates are behind time so apologies are due. WrestleMania 26 is really close and I’ve been working on a few things for the site, so that should explain the delay. Also, other sections of the site like Posters, Display Pics, etc will go up after WrestleMania 26. I wish there was more time in a day to do it all, but unfortunately there isn’t, guys.

Anyway, here are the posters for WrestleMania 26 and the PPV that has been bumped up a few months to replace Backlash, Extreme Rules. WrestleMania features an array of superstars, as always, and Extreme Rules features the “ginger-giant” Sheamus. I’m not exactly too excited about WWE’s new lineup and rearrangement of PPV events but I guess we’ll have to live with it for now. Plus, the Extreme Rules poster doesn’t really look that great.

Here’s the poster for WWE Elimination Chamber, previously known for the last decade or so as WWE No Way Out. I guess since the highlights of the night are the Raw / SmackDown! Elimination Chamber matches, WWE decided to just call it that for marketing purposes and to refresh their PPV name list. I’m not digging the poster, though. Looks like something on a Mortal Kombat or some vampire-ish videogame cover (Batista’s eye being weird and all, doesn’t really look like a Chamber he’s looking at.). But I guess this is the poster that’ll stick. Hey, at least it’s Batista. For some reason last year WWE thought it was appropriate to have Vladimir “no-charisma” Kozlov on the final PPV poster before WrestleMania 25! Way to go, geniuses. Compared to that, this one looks pretty decent.

Survivor Series is always one of my favorite shows and this year’s looks like it’s going to be one heck of a ride! Two Triple Threat matches for the two most coveted prizes in the business; both matches pitting tag-teams against each other. Will Chris Jericho and Big Show beat each other to a point where it’s just impossible to coexist anymore, bringing jeopardy upon their Unified Tag Team Championship status? And can Degeneration X coexist as promised with both Triple H and Shawn Michaels working as a unit, or will their egos tear them apart as they eye the WWE Championship? Then there’s ‘the Great Betrayal’, or what I call the awesome turn of Batista from ‘best friend in the whole wide world’ to ‘unleashed beast that’s been behind bars for way too long’. There’s just so much happening at Survivor Series this year that there’s a very low chance of it not being epic.
