I didn’t want to do a lengthy review of WrestleMania 28 for two major reasons; I was literally exhausted by the time it was done and by the time I was able to do it, most of you would have read two dozen reviews across the Internet already. So a full review seemed quite pointless to me. I didn’t want to infringe on Johnathon Smith’s signature way of dissecting a show either, which he’s great at doing every week for Monday Night Raw. Go check out his latest column, seriously.
So I figured I’d talk about WrestleMania 28 the same way I watched WrestleMania 28: as a mark, and as a fan who threw logic out the door and rooted despite the odds for his favorite superstars to win. By the end of the night, I realized that WrestleMania 28 was a show built for the marks and not the smarks, and here’s why I think so. More
Opinion : What’s Next For John Cena After WrestleMania 28?
Wednesday
Mar 28, 2012
This time next week, the entire Internet Wrestling Community will be overanalyzing the enthralling details of John Cena’s WrestleMania throwdown with Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson and its aftermath. Beyond that, a small fraction of the IWC will be contemplating what’s next for Cena after his epic WrestleMania tussle. One question that will immediately come to mind with the Rock likely retreating back to Hollywood is whether Cena will once again re-enter the WWE Championship picture after a lengthy absence. More
Opinion : Is WWE Using CM Punk To Steer Fans To Cena’s Side?
Saturday
Mar 17, 2012
If you don’t know about the recent backstage rumblings concerning The Rock and how there’s a silent war between him and modern-day WWE superstars, I’d say you are either disciplined enough to stay away from dirt-sheets, or you just woke up from a year-long coma. If it’s the latter, then boy-oh-boy are you going to hate yourself for missing some pretty epic sh!t. The most vocal of the backstage lot has been, for obvious reasons, The Voice of The Voiceless and your current WWE Champion, CM Punk. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I’d bet a good dollar that there’s more to CM Punk’s negative remarks concerning The Rock than just Punk not being able to see eye to eye with him. I’m thinking CM Punk is the trick hidden up WWE’s sleeve, and the subliminal weapon that’s being used to pan more people over to Cena’s corner, and away from The Rock’s. More
John Cena vs The Rock : Is WWE Playing Fair or Taking Sides In This Epic WrestleMania Rivalry?
Wednesday
Mar 7, 2012
The following is the first post by guest contributor Gerald Straume.
Holy steaming tacos! Is WrestleMania 28 getting fired-up or what! I may be seriously mistaken in my theory, but I think WWE have actually learned the feeling of shame and are trying to make it up to us for the atrocity that was last year’s WrestleMania. Other than the edge-of-your-seat battle delivered by The Undertaker and Triple H, what else was there in 2011′s self-proclaimed Grandest Stage? Even The Rock couldn’t save last year’s steaming lump of boredom personified. Speaking of The Rock… (notice how I skillfully handled the segue there?) …
Is it really surprising to see The Great One in the center of what people are calling WWE’s Latest Conspiracy Theory? I mean you have possibly the most popular superstar to ever grace a WWE roster facing a guy who’d be lucky to get 10% of the crowd to cheer him in his own hometown. Was there really any doubt that WWE would do their best to split the crowd 50/50 before the curtains are raised at WrestleMania 28? More
Embracing The Hate : Is ‘Evil Eve’ Going To Join Forces with Kane?
Thursday
Feb 23, 2012
The last couple of months have been a wacky rollercoaster ride for Eve. She went from being Zack Ryder’s sweetheart to being called a disease-ridden bitch, hoeski, and skankopotomous on Raw, all in less than a week! Poor Eve. She literally had to try and rape John Cena in the middle of the ring while our defenseless cap-bearing saint called for doctors and ringside personnel to hold her back. I didn’t see him protest last week when he was eating her face, but let’s just forget that ever happened. Eve seduced him, end of story. But is this scenario really that bad for Eve? Has she turned into such an emotional wreck, tipping past the point of no return? Not so. Remember, no matter how crazy you are in WWE…there’s always someone crazier than you who’s more deranged, more twisted, and more…hateful, just sitting somewhere in a cleverly-lit reddish corner of the backstage area. Cue Kane’s entrance music, please. More

Opinion : Do Current WWE Superstars Have The Right To Be Mad At The Rock?
Wednesday
Feb 22, 2012
So here we are on the fast-lane to WrestleMania 28. Things are picking-up fast and The Rock / Cena feud is garnering heat. Some of the heat seems to be real, too. According to the dirt-sheets, certain superstars backstage seem to be elated at the fact that Cena managed to rip The Rock apart on Live TV. More importantly, there seems to be a message from an “anonymous superstar” that berates The Rock and thrashes his decision to return at WrestleMania 28. It got me thinking, “Do the current crop of WWE Superstars have a legitimate right to be mad at The Rock for taking the main-event at WrestleMania 28?” Here’s what I think… More
Goodbye Evan Bourne? What’s Next For Air Boom After Their Title Loss?
Monday
Jan 16, 2012
Okay here’s a quick post regarding the hottest topic at the moment : Air Boom’s Tag Team Championship loss to Epico and Primo on a house show. Yes, you read correctly…a house show. This drastic decision could only mean two things ; Evan Bourne is in such a deep sinkhole of s**t that creative decided to rip the titles off him at a non-televised house show, or everyone’s all but ready to ‘Future Endeavor’ the high-flyer. Which one could it be? More
The True Wrestling Comeback : Chris Jericho Will Save WrestleMania When The Rock Can’t Deliver!
Sunday
Jan 15, 2012
Since making his return to the WWE, Chris Jericho has literally bedazzled and beguiled the fans. Tanner and more ripped than ever, Y2J has gleefully ambled to the ring the last two weeks to the tune of vociferous cheers. That same applause, however, has turned to confusion and even jeers when Jericho never bothered to utter a single word into the microphone. Truth be told, there is no better heel in the wrestling marketplace than Jericho, who has always had his fingers on the pulse of what fans respond to. He embodies the smarmy, oblivious smart ass in such a way that is both novel and effective. For instance, when was the last time you can say a wrestler’s performance was both hilarious and annoying?
