Tables, Ladders, Chairs…Oh,my!
I can’t help but think of Mick Foley everytime I hear the words “TLC“. It was, after all, his “invention” back when he was the General Manager. In fact, back then, the General Manager didn’t have to ‘tweet’ announcements via a computer, or give Michael Cole more screentime than any of the Raw superstars week after week. Stories of Mick Foley aside, the card for this year’s TLC seems pretty stacked. You have the WWE, World Heavyweight, and the Intercontinental Championship on the line, as well as the No.1 Contender’s spot for the WWE Championship up for grabs. You also have the first-ever Divas Tables Match. That’s right, it’s okay for kids to watch women violently crashing through tables, but paramedics are sent out in the middle of a match at the first sight of blood seeping out someone’s nose. Go figure. More

“You’re Either Nexus…Or Against Us”.
The Nexus have taken WWE by the throat over the last several months and come Survivor Series there’s a chance they’ll inflict the company with its biggest scar yet if John Cena does indeed get himself fired. Either way, Nexus are about to shift the foundation of WWE and change its landscape this Sunday, when Wade Barrett becomes WWE Champion, or when John Cena is forced to walk away from the business. The Battle For Brand Superiority Continues.
I never really understood why WWE created Bragging Rights so close to Survivor Series. They basically employ the same concept, only Bragging Rights allows for more superstars to represent each team. I guess it’s a good way to promote their annual videogame, SmackDown! vs Raw, which comes out at the end of the month. I’ll admit, it is an interesting concept that allows for rivals on the same show to put aside their differences and fight a common enemy, in this case, the opposing brand. More

The Most Dangerous Structure In WWE History.
If you recall last year’s Hell In A Cell wallpaper update, I clearly stated that I hate the fact that WWE turned their most popular match into a PPV event, thereby ruining the mystique the merciless steel structure carried. This year, however, I’m pretty hyped for the PPV for one major reason: The Undertaker and Kane! This is a dream match for anyone who has had the privilege of watching the history between these two forces of nature unravel over the years. More

Challengers Will Rise, Champions Will Fall.
There are a number of WWE conceptual PPVs that I still cannot “click” with, but Night Of Champions is NOT one of them. I actually like the way WWE structures its matches around Night of Champions. The PPV doesn’t always turn out the way we want it to, but at least the build-up is interesting. And more often than not, there’s always a change of a couple of titles on the show. More

UPDATE : Here’s the newer version of the wallpaper featuring Chris Jericho and Edge as part of Team WWE, and minus The Great Khali. Hopefully The Miz grabs the vacant spot. Miz is getting more entertaining by the minute, so it’ll be cool to see how he performs alongside his fellow Raw superstars against a common threat.
It’s The Biggest Event Of The Summer!
It’s WWE’s “WrestleMania of the summer” and by the looks of things, this year’s event is going to be epic. The deadly seven known as The Nexus have taken WWE by the throat and it seems not even John Cena’s elite team are a match for the ruthless rookies. I doubt Team WWE will be victorious at Summerslam, but even if they do win, this rivalry is far from over. I’m predicting an even bigger match down the road, possibly at Survivor Series. Then there’s SmackDown!’s intense saga pitting Kane against Rey Mysterio, during which I hope The Undertaker returns. I was hoping The Nexus would be responsible for the Deadman’s “coma”, but I’m always open to another Brothers Of Destruction angle. And of course, the vicious, venomous viper, Randy Orton is prepped and ready for another championship run. I hope he takes the belt off Sheamus, but even if he doesn’t, it’s almost certain someone’s going to get RKO’d at the event! Get to downloadin’, all. The wallpaper isn’t complete, but as soon as we know who’ll fill in the spots for Edge and Chris Jericho, I’ll update the wallpaper and put it up again.
NOTE : Also, Unchained Wrestling Wallpapers turns 5 this month! I’ll be celebrating a lil’ with some changes to the site. Big or small, you’ll have to wait and see. As for now, enjoy the new Summerslam wallpaper, and keep checking back for more updates!

One briefcase, and the chance of a lifetime.
I’ve been a fan of the Money In The Bank match ever since its debut at WrestleMania 21. It was a WrestleMania tradition that I truly got into, and knowing that at anytime the holder of the briefcase could cash-in and cause a shocker made things very interesting. Of course, WWE had to go and take MITB out of WrestleMania and turn it into a PPV by itself. And now there are two briefcases, two main-events, and a total of 16 superstars competing for a championship opportunity. It sounds exciting, but it ruins the specialty of having just ONE MITB match, and ONE winner with an anything-goes opportunity in hand. What’s the point of having two people running around with two different briefcases? It only spoils the chances of having more surprises. Anyway, here’s the wallpaper for this Sunday’s Money In The Bank conceptual pay-per-view. The matches seem pretty interesting, and I’m almost sure the Nexus will be eagerly anticipating an opening to cause some chaos, but all in all, I still wish they left MITB as a WrestleMania-exclusive match.

WWE Fatal 4 Way 2010 Wallpaper

Odds Favor The Challengers.
I know this is literally the 11th hour and we’re merely a day away from WWE’s newest conceptual PPV, Fatal 4 Way, but believe me when I say there were some major issues to deal with that prevented me from making this update. But thankfully, here it is, and the ‘chain‘ has yet to be broken!
I only added the two big main events to make this wallpaper unique. Personally, I’m not too interested in the matches themselves. Odds are John Cena will retain the WWE Championship while Swagger will probably drop it off. Or maybe it’ll be the other way around. I smell a shocker around the corner, though, especially with Kane lurking in the dark, waiting to ambush any ‘suspects’ linked to The Undertaker’s current condition. And on Raw’s side, there’s the (very interesting) NXT invasion which will undoubtedly play a major role during the event. The PPV itself doesn’t look too interesting, but I’m sure with Kane’s vengeance-streak and the NXT-ers on a rampage, backstage events will get very, very heated up. Get to downloadin’, all!
