You know there’s two sides to every coin? WrestleMania 28 holds true to that saying. On one side you have the ‘colorful’ media-frenzy, Icon vs Icon rivalry between The Rock and John Cena with its mainstream appeal. On the other side of the ‘coin’ though is the darker, more sinister side of WrestleMania 28. It’s a match that caters to the core pro-wrestling fanatics and the ones who realize the rich history behind this epic rivalry. On April 1st, The Undertaker will battle Triple H in more than just an Icon vs Icon match. It’ll be a legendary showdown of warriors from a vanishing breed, an end of an era, and in the Deadman’s own words…it’ll be “the apocalypse”. The Saga Ends At WrestleMania 28.
Well, at least that’s how it seems at the time-being. Last week on Raw, Triple H’s firing of John Laurinaitis was interrupted by a series of chilling gongs, which could only mean that WWE’s Last Outlaw was in the building after a 10-month absence. The Undertaker made a triumphant return, causing a serious deja vu effect after last year’s Road To WrestleMania stint, and challenged Triple H to yet another match at WrestleMania. Triple H, however, responded by…patting him on the shoulder? And walking away? More

Once a Cerebral Assassin, always a Cerebral Assassin!
Wasn’t it awesome seeing Triple H wrestle again at Night Of Champions? I still find it hard to believe that The Game decided to stick to backstage-work instead of active in-ring competition. I always envisioned Triple H being a primetime superstar in the WWE for another 3-4 years at least. Yeah, he’s a couple of years past 40, but his age isn’t showing as much as it does on Shawn Michaels or The Undertaker, and if Night Of Champions was any indication of his in-ring abilities, I’d say he’s got another 5 years of ass-kickin’ left in him!

The Match That Will Define An Era.
When rumors started circulating a while back that Triple H would challenge The Undertaker at WrestleMania this year, I dismissed them almost completely, figuring that WWE would wait a while before booking such an epic match just a year after the second legendary confrontation between the Deadman and Shawn Michaels. On 2.21.11, a date that is now engraved in WWE’s illustrious timeline, I was struck with awe when The Undertaker made his triumphant return, and then shocked beyond belief when moments later Triple H made his comeback from nearly a year of hiatus!
