*New* WWE Over The Limit Poster.
Thursday
Apr 8, 2010
Here’s the new poster for WWE’s newest PPV, Over The Limit. Like the one before it features Edge, only this time the poster looks better overall. Better logo, better pose, better design. The older one looked like an ad for Castrol or some other motor-oil product. But like I’ve said before, I’m a fan of the older PPVs. The older name had a certain charm and impact to them; Backlash, Judgment Day, Fully Loaded, Bad Blood, Unforgiven, etc. It made the company look rugged and the events dangerous and somewhat ominous. I guess I’ll have to get used to these newer names for now. But in any case, this new poster looks pretty nice. Still wish Edge was a heel, though.
Thanks to Subho, Irfan, and Menk for the heads-up.
WrestleMania 26 + Extreme Rules Posters.
Sunday
Mar 7, 2010
I know these updates are behind time so apologies are due. WrestleMania 26 is really close and I’ve been working on a few things for the site, so that should explain the delay. Also, other sections of the site like Posters, Display Pics, etc will go up after WrestleMania 26. I wish there was more time in a day to do it all, but unfortunately there isn’t, guys.
Anyway, here are the posters for WrestleMania 26 and the PPV that has been bumped up a few months to replace Backlash, Extreme Rules. WrestleMania features an array of superstars, as always, and Extreme Rules features the “ginger-giant” Sheamus. I’m not exactly too excited about WWE’s new lineup and rearrangement of PPV events but I guess we’ll
have to live with it for now. Plus, the Extreme Rules poster doesn’t really look that great.
To all of you who notified me about these posters, you know who you are, thanks! I couldn’t note down all your names because it was a while ago, but I’ll definitely credit you the next time around when new posters come out. Thanks, fellas!

WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER 2010 POSTER
Wednesday
Jan 6, 2010
Here’s the poster for WWE Elimination Chamber, previously known for the last decade or so as WWE No Way Out. I guess since the highlights of the night are the Raw / SmackDown! Elimination Chamber matches, WWE decided to just call it that for marketing purposes and to refresh their PPV name list. I’m not digging the poster, though. Looks like something on a Mortal Kombat or some vampire-ish videogame cover (Batista’s eye being weird and all, doesn’t really look like a Chamber he’s looking at.). But I guess this is the poster that’ll stick. Hey, at least it’s Batista. For some reason last year WWE thought it was appropriate to have Vladimir “no-charisma” Kozlov on the final PPV poster before WrestleMania 25! Way to go, geniuses. Compared to that, this one looks pretty decent.
Thanks to muafaddal, irfan, ali, austin, and mr.jumbo for the heads-up!
WWE ROYAL RUMBLE 2010 POSTER.
Thursday
Dec 3, 2009
So it begins. We’re at the end of 2009 (it went by so fast, didn’t it?) and the hype for Royal Rumble 2010 has started. And with it comes the official beginning of the road to WrestleMania 26. All that aside, the promotional or inDemand poster for the Rumble looks kinda’ bad despite the fact that it’s bombarded with WWE superstars. Maybe the poster’s too white, maybe it doesn’t have as much color as it should, or maybe it’s just because it looks easily done. I expected more. This probably isn’t the final poster, though, since there’s still time and WWE may decide to pull off something more unique by then. My early predictions? It’s time for the new breed to shine. One of the up and coming superstars (Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, etc) is going to get their golden opportunity to headline WrestleMania 26 and seal their place at the top of the food chain. That’s what I think.

NEW WWE Tables,Ladders, & Chairs Poster.
Thursday
Nov 26, 2009
Woah, now that’s one ugly looking poster. Seriously, it looks like a preschooler was trying his skills at design work. I’m not sure why WWE picked this picture to hype their event when [a] Edge is still injured and is a few months away (at least) from returning to the ring, [b] Undertaker looks beat-down and (un)intimidating, and [c] there are loads of other images that depict a TLC match way better. I like the CM Punk poster a lot more than this piece. Looks very rushed and gives us a sense that even WWE doesn’t care about some of their own events anymore. Anyway, it’s still a poster…I just cant find one good thing to say about it!
Thanks to NME, Subho, and Irfan for the heads-up.

WWE Tables, Ladders, Chairs (TLC) Poster
Saturday
Nov 21, 2009
CM Punk is featured on the poster for WWE’s brand new pay-per-view event, TLC, obviously branding all main events under Tables, Ladders, and Chairs rules. I think it would have looked better if more superstars were featured on the poster instead of just one; CM Punk looks kinda’ odd jumping around all by himself. Still, it’s a unique looking poster. Not any of the best this year, but not bad either. Click the image for the full sized image.
Thanks to NME and Muafadal for the heads-up.
