The Saga Ends At WrestleMania 28.
Well, at least that’s how it seems at the time-being. Last week on Raw, Triple H’s firing of John Laurinaitis was interrupted by a series of chilling gongs, which could only mean that WWE’s Last Outlaw was in the building after a 10-month absence. The Undertaker made a triumphant return, causing a serious deja vu effect after last year’s Road To WrestleMania stint, and challenged Triple H to yet another match at WrestleMania. Triple H, however, responded by…patting him on the shoulder? And walking away? More

Have you heard? WWE 12′ has been scoring great ratings across major videogame websites! IGN gave it a 9.0/10 whereas other websites are saying this game is a must-have! Now, if you’re a fan of WWE videogames, you’ll understand why this is great news. THQ promised a brand new era in wrestling videogames with WWE 12′, the brand new title in the series, taking off after the previous SmackDown! vs Raw line-up. When rumors started circulating a while back that Triple H would challenge The Undertaker at WrestleMania this year, I dismissed them almost completely, figuring that WWE would wait a while before booking such an epic match just a year after the second legendary confrontation between the Deadman and Shawn Michaels. On 2.21.11, a date that is now engraved in WWE’s illustrious timeline, I was struck with awe when The Undertaker made his triumphant return, and then shocked beyond belief when moments later Triple H made his comeback from nearly a year of hiatus! I would be lying if I said I didn’t watch WrestleMania every year mainly for The Undertaker, because that’s exactly what I do. I love the show and I love the road that leads into the grandest stage of them all, and I mark-out quite a lot when favorites like Stone Cold and The Rock decide to make rare appearances at the event, but the one thing that keeps me on the edge of my seat more than any other match is the one that involves the Deadman and his unprecedented WrestleMania winning streak. The Undertaker may have been buried by his demented brother Kane, but that doesn’t mean he’s gone for good. The Deadman has a tendency of rising from the ashes and reemerging from the dead, and if being buried before didn’t stop him, being buried now probably isn’t going to keep him down for too long. This Is Your Moment.
It’s that time of year again when THQ releases its annual SmackDown! videogame installment, and as always it promises us a brand new gaming experience like never before. If or not that’s true remains to be seen, but no matter how you put it it’s definitely fun being able to control your favorite superstars and pit them in all sorts of matches. Early reviews are saying SmackDown! vs Raw 2011 is the best title in the series since SmackDown! : Here Comes The Pain, which is by far the best title in the series. More

SmackDown! Has A New Home.
SmackDown! is finally joining the same league as the USA Network…well, technically. WWE superstars on the blue-brand will now emanate from the SyFy network, home to NXT and the now-defunct ECW. More

The Rematch Of The Century.
Probably the only match that could top Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 would be Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26! When the dust settled after last year’s phenomenal showdown, I was one of the millions who were left wondering if we’d ever see a match of this caliber again anytime soon. I guess we didn’t have to wait very long. The only difference this year around is that it’s much more personal, and the career of one of the greatest superstars in wrestling history hangs in the balance. WrestleMania 26 will see the annihilation of the unprecedented “17-0 WrestleMania Streak” or it will be the final showcase for the Heart Break Kid, Shawn Michaels. Either way, this year will mark the end of an era. And while I wouldn’t want The Undertaker’s legendary winning streak to ever end, I also think that if there’s one person who deserves to break it, it’s the Showstopper, Shawn Michaels! But at the end of the day, I’m rooting for The Undertaker because while Shawn Michaels retiring is a huge loss, we all know nobody ever really retires in WWE. The streak, on the other hand, can never be “un-broken”.

So this is it. The sequel of sequels. And the wallpaper above is a sequel to last year’s wallpaper. It has been said that WrestleMania 26 could turn out to be one of the biggest ‘Mania events in WWE history, and by the look of things it seems to be going that exact direction. The matches are huge in scale but make no mistake and this isn’t to offend fans of other superstars; but there is no match this year that’s bigger than The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels II!
