What did you think about the biggest Birthday Bash in the history of television? I can summarize the night in one word : electrifying! From the opening moments with Lilian Garcia singing the absolute best version of the national anthem I have ever heard, to the crowd celebrating the nation’s victory, to the closing moments with balloons and graffiti and The Rock standing proud in the ring. It was awesome. Celebrities came out to wish The Great One, WWE Superstars were wishing him backstage, The Rock almost broke Michael Cole’s back with a Rockbottom and terminated him from the rest of the night, and we got to see what I think was the most genuine “thank you” from Vince McMahon ever. And I love the way Vince put it. He thanked The Rock for coming ‘home’, as in back to the ring, back to WWE, and back to The People!

But the highlight of the night for me was when John Cena confronted The Rock backstage in the middle of the party. It was intense, it was powerful, and it was everything I had hoped for from John Cena. He’s standing his ground, provoking The People’s Champion to try and take the WWE Championship away from him. As long as this momentum continues, we’re going to have ourselves a main event unlike any other at WrestleMania 28 next year when The Rock returns to Miami. Which brings me to which side I’ll be on during that epic showdown of icons. Make no mistake, I respect Cena for what he’s done for WWE, but I will be cheering 100% for The Great One, the Most Electrifying Man In All Of Entertainment, The Rock! And I’m sure The People will be cheering for him louder than they ever have, and Team Bring It all over the world will be backing him up!
